Rawstudio exists to create things differently, products which have a reason to exist and have been approached from a fresh angle.
Every product has something hidden that, when discovered, offers that extra slice of satisfaction. It may be the way they are designed or engineered, a hidden functionality or a narrative behind the design.
At Rawstudio we believe in keeping things local, we make everything we can in the UK and try our best to minimize any environmental impact in the manufacture of a quality long lasting product.
As well as creating our own products, Rawstudio takes on commissions and can advise companies both home and abroad on design direction.
We have shown in Milan, Moscow, London Design Festival, Chelsea Flower Show, the V&A and many more besides.
We have also been nominated for and won several awards in the last few years, including winning the Fiat Design Award, nominations for best new exhibitor at 100%London and Nick was a finalist in the British Council’s Young Creative Entrepeneur competition.
Rawstudio Ltd was founded in 2004 by Nick Rawcliffe whose rich training has included time at the Royal College of Art, the Bauhaus and work in Japan on top of an engineering degree from Bristol University.
